Are you our new Client Services Executive?


A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our growing Digital Operations team here at William Reed. This role is based in the UK and will be the primary point of contact for our customers to setup their digital advertising campaigns on our newsletters and websites. The ideal candidate will enjoy nurturing cross-cultural relationships in a global environment and be able to quickly troubleshoot issues and get to the root of a problem.

Core responsibilities

Client Services Managers are in charge of monitoring client campaigns on a regular basis and adjusting setups in collaboration with our Sales Team and clients - flexibility and the acceptance of working some shifted hours is key.

  • Our customers are the key to our success so the Client Services Manager will respond to clients' requests in a professional and timely manner, ensuring the accuracy of all communications.
  • Maintain strong relationships with our internal and external customers and provide them with excellent service in all aspects of campaign delivery
  • Proactively maintain an efficient cross-check process to maintain our high-quality service levels within the team
  • Produce and enhance digital campaign reports to help our Sales Department deliver each campaign's figures within the required time
  • Accurately setup new digital campaigns in various ad servers (principally Google Ad Manager)
  • Ensure digital advertising campaigns start on time and complete on time
  • Ensure all email newsletters are sent according to schedule, with ads correctly laid-out
  • Work closely with both the Ad Ops Team Leader and sales personnel to provide the best performance possible for our clients.
  • Suggestions for campaign improvement should be made wherever they could add value
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise and make amendments or fix errors on all setups as required
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ad serving techniques and technologies through active participation in online forums and Ad Ops groups and through an online documentation system that everybody keeps up to date.

Required experience and skills

  • Champion for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Great client relationships and communication skills
  • Proactive and enthusiastic in general
  • Analytical and process driven
  • Experience with ad serving and trafficking technologies (especially Google Ad Manager, previously called Google DFP)
  • Experience with using Content Management Systems, Newsletter Delivery Systems, and Sales Order Management Systems
  • Experience with working directly with HTML files would be beneficial (to help troubleshoot client ads)

Desirable, or of additional benefit:

  • Experience with any of the following CMS's or software applications: eZ-Publish, WordPress, Pressflex, Adobe Campaign, Elan
