Douglas Scott Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Paralegal / Office Administrator in the Stamford area. Due to expansion my client is seeking a Paralegal / Office Administrator to support the Office and team of Fee Earners & Solicitors in their day to day roles.
Responsibilities:
• This will consist of typical administration support such as following the client journey, assisting clients with their queries and answering the phones.
• The Paralegal/Office Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Head of Department and Solicitors, working on a caseload of private client requirements using our case management system.
• The candidate will be expected to work with supervision as part of a team.
• It is essential you are responsible for your own workload and adhering to clients' needs is of upmost importance.
• professionalism and having a pleasant demeanour.
• You will be providing client support for their existing client base through a combination of telephone, email, post and through in person meetings.
• You will also have to deal with email, letter, telephone communications promptly.
The Ideal Candidate:
• The ability to prioritise work and meet strict timescales
• Excellent IT skills, ability to work with trust and estate accounts based on Excel
• Able to deal with clients with empathy and professionalism
• Confident and able to exercise initiative
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong numeracy skills
