Success Recruit are currently working with a leading & expanding construction company who are recruiting an HR Business Partner that will split their working week between brand new offices in North London and Central Essex.

The successful HR Business Partner will be expected to be:

* CIPD Qualified to MCIPD level or willing to work to towards this

* Have previous experience working at a senior HR advisor level

* Looking to develop their career and work in a HR Business partner role

* Have excellent communication skills on all levels

Job Description

The successful HR Business Partner will be responsible for building strong and lasting relationships with managers and helping achieve commercial objectives. Reporting into the HR Director and taking leadership for strategy development and supporting on a wide range of policies and projects.

Duties to include but not limited to:

* Employee Relations including grievances, disciplinaries etc.

* Working with managers to offer coaching and support

* Providing ER training to managers to enable them to upskill and develop the ability to deal with and resolve queries themselves

* Maintaining an up to date understanding of employment legislation, to maintain and refresh HR polices procedures and templates

* Using data for a range of reporting mechanisms including reporting on HR and other people metrics and KPI's for contracts with our customers

* Apprenticeship scheme; organising and facilitating the MH Apprenticeship scheme

* Organising and facilitating a work placement and internship scheme

* Developing and implementing a learning and development opportunity linked to personal development plans and the needs of the business

* Employee Engagement; organising the employee forum meetings and annual survey to capture key feedback from employees. Working with HR Director to devise and deliver and action plan based on the outcomes from the survey and forum.

* Working with the communication team to ensure the workforce is kept up to date on key issues affecting them

* Recruitment and tracking recruitment activity including hard to fill roles and tracking candidate sourcing

* Drafting case studies about HR projects and successes to be used in Bids to clients

* Supporting the development of in-house IT system to benefit employees and reporting

* Supporting both HR and the wider business to develop health wellbeing initiatives and capturing data from managers and employees in relation to this

This position would suit someone who is keen to develop and take their next career step into a business partner role and working closely with the commercial team and directors.

Hours:

Monday to Friday - 08.30am - 5pm Monday - Friday

My client is flexible to offer 2/3 days in London and 2/3 days in Essex based on successful candidates location.

Salary:

Circa GBP40k
