This role within the Talent and Recruitment team is a crucial position as you will be responsible for all of the pre-employment background and security checks prior to a new employee being hired. This role is very fast paced, and demanding a very high level of accuracy and professionalism, working with a highly prestigious investment bank in the City of London. This role will be on a temporary basis
What the role entails:
Carry out pre-employment checks and references to a high standard
Liaise with legal and compliance stakeholders to make hiring decisions
Answer candidate questions relating to the pre-employment checks
Partner with talent coordinators and hiring managers on relevant information such as background check results
Update HR information system with relevant information as required
Reporting: Create and cascade reports as needed
Program development: Work with the background check team, internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practice at all time
Must haves:
Bachelor's Degree required
Experience in working in an FCRA compliant environment
Experience of working in HR, Talent, Legal or Compliance role – absolutely essential
Fast paced-high volume role so experience in this is essential
