HR Manager

Maternity Contract starting July - up to 50K dependent on experience

 

Fantastic opportunity for an HR Manager to join this leading creative advertising agency in central London for a maternity contract.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be able to build great relationships with key people within the company and advise on a range of HR issues and best practise.. be solutions focussed and of course you must be able to demonstrate employment law knowledge as well as creative, cutting edge HR trends and practices.


Main responsibilities will include

● Partnering with other businesses within the group

● Advising senior management on all HR issues and employment law

● Managing caseloads and attending HR meetings including disciplinaries and grievances, performance management cases and long term sick cases

● Manage redundancies/TUPEs and change management projects

● Working with the wider HR team in managing the roll out of our new initiatives to the wider business

● Oversee and provide guidance on visa/ sponsorship applications

● Support the annual career review processes 

● Be accessible and approachable to all employees should they need to talk to you about any issue

● Keep up to date with new legislations and Government initiatives, attending industry updates and events

● Review, revise and implement new policies and procedures where applicable, whilst ensuring the team and the wider business are informed of any changes where necessary

● Management of the company benefits 

● Overseeing the annual employee engagement survey and feeding back results to the wider business

● Assisting with any ad hoc HR duties and tasks.


Experience required:


● Proven experience working partnering with senior stakeholders, advising on all manners of
HR processes and procedures
● Experience of managing TUPE processes and/or redundancies/restructures
● Good working knowledge of employment law
● Track record of driving and managing successful HR initiatives and projects
● Great Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PPT, Excel
