Clinical Negligence Legal Secretary | Altrincham

A well-regarded award-winning law firm based in Altrincham are currently looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to work within the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence department.

As a Legal Secretary you will be responsible for providing full secretarial support to a Director consisting of arranging appointments, dealing with clients queries in person and over the telephone as well as audio typing via digital dictation. Within the Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence department you will also be responsible for filing, photocopying and opening closing of client files.

Within the Clinical Negligence team you will also be responsible for providing office management support, consisting of liaising with the HR Manager to arrange secretarial and sickness cover, ensuring the smooth running of the office, maintaining holiday and sickness schedules, dealing with minor staff problems as well as general managerial support to the firm.:

Experience Required:

* Have previous legal secretarial experience within Clinical Negligence.

* At Least 2 years + experience.

* IT literate and experience audio typing.

* Experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

* Experience using case management systems

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

* Possessing a good telephone manner, accuracy and attention to detail

* Must work well as part of a team and possess a pro-active team work approach.
