We are working with one of the UK's leading construction companies and are looking to recruit a Construction Coordinator / Secretary
You will be based half the time at home and the other half of the time in the Coventry based Head Office. Supporting the Director with delivering the support to production and commercial staff, providing the customers, contractors, Site Managers and sub-contractors with everything they may need from an admin and customer service perspective. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar customer service / coordination / administration role within the construction / engineering industry - and will be comfortable liaising with site staff of all levels and dealing with all the ups and downs that go alongside that.
The role will involve:
* Responding to all complaints / queries from customers and sub-contractors
* Coordinating scheduled work and ensuring it's all done within the relevant deadlines and time scales
* Formulate customer service plans for new projects
* Ordering materials to site and ensuring it arrives before the project starts
* Providing full administrative support to the projects - prior, during and after completion of works
* Updating and running reports
* Ensuring SHEQ standards are consistently being met
* Acknowledging any re-occurring problems and working with the Manager to find a solution
* Attending site for inspections on occasions and also to build relationships with the site staff and management
* Attending relevant meetings
* Admin support for the Director
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

* Impeccable time management
