A fast growing luxury goods brand based in central London requires a highly efficient, ambitious, quick learner and fast paced Assistant to support the Managing Director in all aspects of their Business and Private affairs.

You will be the right-hand person to the Principal offering all round administrative and executive support with a flexible and entrepreneurial approach. You will be confident at dealing with high profile clients and not be fazed by a demanding and fast paced environment.

You will have a ‘can do’ attitude happy to take on any task however big or small and with a background in fashion/luxury brand, you will have a good knowledge and understanding of the industry with the desire to develop and grow within this exciting company.

Hours:              Full time with some out of hours support required

Location:         Central London

Salary:             £25-30k

Start Date:       ASAP

Languages:     Italian desirable

 

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • All round administrative support to the Managing Director
  • Detailed note taking
  • Assisting with stock and store management
  • Liaising with clients with a professional and courteous manner
  • Arrange all mail, franking, international and local couriers for client orders and supplier shipments
  • Extensive Diary management with an ever-changing schedule
  • Responding to and drafting emails and written correspondence for the Principal and customers when required
  • Acting as gatekeeper with a good knowledge of the Principal’s contacts
  • Managing personal and household matters inc. travel, insurance, restaurant bookings etc.
  • Assisting on shoots with confidence
  • Running errands and general ad hoc support
  • Ensure the smooth running of the design studio

 

Candidates must be / have:

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the fashion industry
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail
  • Ability to be discreet, confidential and reliable at all times
  • An entrepreneurial and flexible approach
  • Italian is desirable although not essential as are other languages
  • Excellent work ethic, dedicated to developing and growing within the role
  • Positive, can-do attitude remaining calm under pressure
  • Discreet, proactive, confident and enthusiastic
  • Proficient with PC and MAC. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as Google Applications (such as Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Slides and Docs)
  • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop basic knowledge and use is a plus
  • Well-presented and articulate with impeccable written and spoken English
