Your opportunity
We are looking to recruit outstanding individuals to become a pivotal part of our Engagement Support Service (ESS) function within our Cardiff Delivery Centre. This is a new opportunity to join a fast paced and growing team pivotal to the delivery of high quality, fast-paced business support services to our market-leading client-facing teams; coupled with inspiring and leading our award-winning people to continued success.
We have filled all of our current vacancies for this team but would love to hear from you in readiness for our next recruitment intake later in the year.
We encourage consideration of flexible ways of working, both formal and informal arrangements that allow for the best outcomes for our people and our clients. If this opportunity is of interest to you with some flexibility, please do discuss with us.
Your role
ESS provides centralised & tailored business support services to the Deloitte client-facing practice.
You will work as part of a dedicated skillset or project team to help achieve these principles, with a coaching and mentoring structure in place to provide you with guidance and support. As our team continues to grow, you will be also able to grow and develop as we provide you with the opportunity to become a subject matter expert and to advance both your technical and soft skills through our structured training and career development plans.
Your responsibilities
As a key member of the ESS team, you will have responsibility for delivering a varied and comprehensive range of business support, administrative and project management tasks to internal clients.
Responsibilities include:
• Updating internal systems with up to date client, financial and project information
• Ensuring compliance and contractual requirements are met and maintained throughout the duration of a client engagement
• Producing letters and client reporting documents using Microsoft Office tools
• Supporting projects and clients from bid stage right the way through to engagement closedown through a variety of service delivery activities
• Providing financial support for certain projects covering a variety of tasks
• Supporting the creation of proposals for new client bids, completing necessary client take-on procedures and setting up of new engagement/client records
• Ensuring compliance and contractual requirements are met and maintained throughout the duration of a client engagement
• Proactively seeking out improvements to existing processes utilising technology and tools
• Continually working on improvements and efficiencies to ensure processes are optimised
• Gain a strong understanding of ESS and Deloitte processes and policies
• Working effectively in diverse teams across multiple locations and diverse cultures
Your work, your choice
At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. We carefully consider agile ways of working, both formal and informal, that allow for the best impact for our people and our clients. Please speak to your recruiter about the working pattern that works best for you.
Location: Cardiff
Work pattern: This is a permanent contract opportunity. The role can be worked on a full-time basis. Our team members work a variety of agile working patterns. Tell us what arrangement works for you and we'll try to accommodate.
