We have an exciting vacancy for a HR Advisor to join us in Glasgow on a part time basis (22.5 hours per week). This role will be based in our Glasgow office combined with home working (with occasional travel).
You will be result focussed, flexible and driven to work in a business that puts clients and people at the heart of what you do by working collaboratively with other HR colleagues and contribute to the development of the wider HR strategy.
You will engage with Team and Operations managers, as well as the wider organisation. You will provide advice and guidance on HR related queries from the management teams and escalate any concerns or issues to the HR Business Partner and Senior HR Business Partner as required. The role will support our Operational areas which includes Customer Contact Centres.
Responsibilities within the role:
- Providing on-going support with any LTS employees in conjunction with the Team Manager
- Management of ER case load and provide advice & guidance on this
- Updating people trackers
- Arranging formal meetings such as probation, attendance reviews, disciplinary hearings etc
- Letter production
- Monthly & annual reporting on HR related activity
- Providing relevant information to the HR Assistant for payroll deadlines
- Policy review
- Supporting engagement initiatives
Skills we are looking for:
- An understanding of general employment law
- Role model the organisations values
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good communication & organisational skills
- Support the recruitment team as & when required with interviews, letter production etc
- Understanding of the recruitment process & associated checks as required
