Live in HK/Cook - Lyme Regis

Tiger Private has taken on a lovely new role based in the gorgeous South West, near the stunning town of Lyme Regis. My client is looking to recruit a LIVE IN Housekeeper/Cook to take care of his home from home and keep things running smoothly. The property is absolutely stunning and this role is a fabulous opportunity for domestic candidates looking to make the move from London or perhaps who are already based in the area.

 Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Sole Housekeeping care of the 7 bedroom property with extra support given when more guests are in residence
• This includes all dusting, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, tidying, care of fine art and antiques, laundry and bed making
• Cooking healthy, tasty food, mainly for the Principal, but with the ability to cook for up to 15 on occasion – there is a Kitchen garden on the estate with a lovely range of organic produce to use
• Provisioning and food shopping
• Serving at dinner parties
• Overseeing contractors

 
The role is working at the highest standard with the understanding that at time the property will be very quiet and at other times incredibly busy. There are other staff present including Pas, Gardeners and a Gamekeeper.

The accommodation is a lovely 2 bedroom cottage, attached to the main property, but with its own front door. Due to the remote location, you must be able to drive.

 
This really is a lovely opportunity to be based in a beautiful part of the country in a role that offers longevity. Candidates must have proven private household experience in a similar role and be meticulous in their approach to all duties. You must have recent experience in a similar position within a private household and great references.
