My client is seeking a Business Development Executive to help grow their OOH channel, specifically focussed around OOH, foodservice and travel. Description
The Business Development Executive role is a fantastic opportunity to really get involved in the front line sales. You will hunt and unlock opportunities across the channel, including foodservice locations, travel, and other OOH opportunities (such as Gyms and Vending).
Additionally the role will drive revenue and profit through supporting the OOH Channel Manager in exploding sales in the channel. This will be achieved through developing a true understanding of where opportunities lie, through areas such as opening up incremental space, range, distribution or reshaping promotional activity in store.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing foodservice and OOH customers.
- Deliver NPD and consumer focussed promotional activation plans to drive sales volumes.
- Identify and secure new business within foodservice and OOH sector using a strategic plan.
- Sell our brand and sales plan into new customers.
- Work with distributors/wholesalers to ensure that our products are listed to feedthrough to the end user foodservice customers.
- Ensure regular contact with customer base to maintain good relations.
- Work with Trade Marketing to build a 'sales pack' to support sell in and ongoing account performance.
- Work with the wider sales team to share information and improve performance.
- Maintain up-to-date account records and reports.
- Reporting to the OOH Channel Manager.
Profile
- Have had some experience or exposure to the FMCG environment or be able to demonstrate active interest in food and drink.
- Be currently operating at a Sales Exec or similar capacity or a graduate looking for their first full time role.
- Have the ability to maintain and develop effective working relationships across functions and various degrees of Seniority.
- Be able to demonstrate you have a problem solving mindset, where you're curious and keen to understand complicated situations, learning and developing as you go.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Have the ability to communicate and present with impact both internally and externally and demonstrating your ability to influence decisions.
- Be a Self-Starter with a tenacious and driven natural approach.
- Be passionate about getting our marshmallow into the hands of as many people as possible.
