Associate Director/Director, Strategic Communications, Central London

Do you have 4-8 years’ PR experience with strong financial literacy and the ability to lead an established and growing team?

Do you have experience devising and implementing communications strategies and programmes? 

We’d be particularly keen to hear from you if you have knowledge and experience of finance and capital markets transactions, technology, ESG or Public Affairs. 

What you’ll be doing day to day:

• Devising and implementing communications strategies and programmes
• Creating materials for communications, press releases, presentations etc
• Building strong relationships with clients, press and investment analysts
• Advising on best practice for PR and IT, providing senior level strategic counsel and support
• Researching for new business opportunities
• Developing buy and sell-side perception studies
• Developing content and presenting at pitches
• Establishing and deepening wider industry relationships

The skills you need to bring:

• Degree or equivalent
• 4-8 years of relevant industry experience
• Solid understanding of the City and financial community
• Excellent communication and written English skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Numerate with experience of working with financial information
• Strong relationship builder
• Independent, clear and creative thinker
• Desire to continually broaden knowledge and contact base
• Ability to take ownership and deliver to deadline
