Technical Sales Administrator
Working Hours: 08.30 - 16.30 Monday to Friday
Salary: GBP18K - 20K (depending upon experience)
Annual Leave: 21 days plus 8 days Bank and Public holidays
Pallet Truck Warehouse Ltd is a well-established and privately owned company, dealing with the distribution of handling equipment within the UK. We now require an experienced Technical Sales Administrator to join our small but growing team based in Bradwell Abbey, Milton Keynes.
You will be working closely with both our Sales and Service Teams to ensure that customer queries and orders are dealt with promptly, accurately and effectively.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Answering phone and email enquiries relating to both delivery and pricing queries
* Raising quotations and proforma invoices
* Development of product knowledge to be able to provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support as required
* Collecting, organising and processing website and telephone sales orders using Sage 50
* Liaising with the warehouse to co-ordinate timely shipments
* Liaising with our freight companies and booking shipments on their computer systems
* Matching delivery notes to sales orders and passing to Accounts for invoicing
* Liaising with suppliers and raising purchase orders
* Forwarding service contracts to customers when required
* Organising training on products with our trainers
* Sending out Goods Return Forms
* Raising credit notes to our customers as required
* Chasing sales quotes & Proforma payments
* General
* Interest in technology, ideally with previous experience of providing technical advice and support
* Focused on continuous improvement in technical product knowledge
* Demonstrate professional attitude to other staff, clients, customers and suppliers
Skills and Qualifications:
* Solid written and verbal communication skills
* Consistently high standards of accuracy/attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Experience of Sage 50 is an advantage
