Job title: Generalist HR Manager
Salary: c.GBP42-45K per annum + competitive benefits
Hours: 8.30am-5.30pm Monday - Friday
Is the role right for you?
The HR Manager will:
Promote and advocate a culture of transparency, continuous improvement and development of effective procedures and best practice.
Always be one-step ahead, manage complex employee relations cases, pre-empt problems and be proactive in resolving challenges.
Maintain flexibility whilst ensuring compliance with all Company policies as well as current employment legislation.
Provide an exceptional HR service in line with the Company's core values.
Have an even split across Generalist HR, Employee relations, Engagement, Internal Recruitment and Learning & Development
Knowledge and Experience
Prior extensive experience in a similar generalist managerial HR role.
CIPD Level 5 or above (desirable).
Up to date knowledge of employment legislation.
Ability to cope well under pressure.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees across all levels.
Must be able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
Proven experience of developing, streamlining, and improving existing processes.
Personal Qualities
Must have a "can-do" attitude and demonstrate going the extra mile on a daily basis.
Must be a team player and value the importance of a positive team culture.
Must take initiative, self-motivate and be proactive.
Enthusiasm to help and commitment to grow with the business.
Ability to handle stressful situations in a professional and considered manner.
Must demonstrate job ownership and be committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
