Based in Thurmaston, Leicester, this is a company operating I n a specialist sector providing design and manufactured products to household name retailers. Following an internal move, the Company Accountant is seeking to appoint an assistant to help her in the day-to-day accounts administration.
This is a business with 10 years (and counting) of year-on-year growth, a strong culture built on family values employing 12 staff at their Head Office, a further 15 at their production facility and turning over GBP5.5million a year.
The Role
You'll predominantly be undertaking responsibility for invoice processing, matching, batching and coding, reconciling statements and discrepancies ensuring accuracy is of high level at all times.
The Purchase Ledger amounts to c100 invoice per week.
In addition, you will be managing the Sales Invoicing, approx. 50 per week but to customers with differing terms of agreement in what and how invoicing is delivered.
The system you'll be using is Kashflow.
Whilst the above makes up the majority of the role, there is a requirement to assist within other administrative needs generally around the office.
The Candidate
We are seeking previous experience in Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger, specifically in a role where a high volume is/was a core fundamental.
In addition, you should be fully adept with an accounting software and you must know your way around Excel to formula level whilst able to demonstrate an all round office skillset to enable versatility for the adhoc requirements
