House Manager

Silver & Bow is seeking a highly experienced House Manager to oversee the smooth running of a luxury private residence in Manhattan, NYC.

The House Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the state-of-the-art property maintaining the highest standards at all times.

This is a holiday residence so whilst the usual hours are Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30, during ‘in residence periods’ you will need to be flexible.

The ideal candidate will be discreet and trustworthy with a ‘can do’ attitude and have a proven track record in House Management for HNW and UNHW Clients with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

This position is live-out and is to commence mid-June to early July.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the overall smooth running of the property
• Report and act on any issues in a timely manner
• Supervise the daily activities of Housekeeping staff
• To manage and monitor household inventories, budgets and expenditure.
• Submit reports on the operation and management of the property.
• Providing general household support, including assisting the Family (as and when directed)
• Attending to general requests and running errands

Required Profile:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a private household as House Manager
• Experienced with high end residential properties and clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A good team player who understands the importance of discretion, professionalism and expediency

We will only be considering candidates who are already located in NYC who satisfy all of the above criteria.

Salary: Up to $140k depending on experience
