This role is a fantastic opportunity for an Office Manager to join an Asset Management firm based in the City of London.
Working in their beautiful offices near St Paul's, this is covering the end of a maternity leave for 3 - 6 months.
You will be required to support a number of different departments within the London office and liaise with appropriate colleagues in the U Head Office as well as other offices worldwide.
Office Management Duties:
*Ensure the ongoing provision of all facilities, services and products required for the smooth operation of the City office.
*Manage all aspects of relationships with key service providers, including:
*Renegotiation of contracts, obtaining of comparable quotes from alternative suppliers at point of contract renewal, and if necessary, recommendation of appointment of new suppliers
*Ensuring continued provision of excellent service from providers in line with agreed contract terms, and timely escalation of issues to senior management if these cannot be resolved
*Be the primary point of liaison with Building Management and provide effective and timely communication to staff in respect of any issues identified.
*Appointed health and safety representative, responsible for all aspects of office health and safety and staff welfare.
*Responsible for general office management, including furniture and equipment orders.
To be successful in this position you will be highly organised with the ability to work independently and to deliver an excellent standard of service.
Previous experience of working as an Office Manager is desired to be able to hit the ground running and be confident to make decision off your own back. You will also enjoy working in a diverse environment.
