Junior Legal PA

A boutique US Law Firm is looking to hire a new Legal PA to join the firm on an initial 12 month FTC.  This role will be in the Litigation/Arbitration team working closely with a Senior PA, and would be a great role for someone with at least 2 years’ law firm experience, preferably within a litigation team.  Responsibilities include preparing and proofreading legal documents and correspondence from handwritten material, rough-copy or digital dictation., editing documents for correct phrasing, and grammar in order to improve the flow of the message without altering its meaning. May reformat, composing correspondence, memoranda, and drafts of routine documents, answering assigned Attorneys’ telephones in addition to prioritising, responding to and/or relaying messages, assisting in answering internal and external telephone calls and email accurate telephone messages to the relevant staff member in a timely manner.  Other duties include arranging and coordinating calendars, extensive travel schedules, meetings and events for assigned Associate Attorneys and preparing travel reimbursement forms and reconciles reimbursements and charge accounts for assigned Attorneys.  Other responsibilities may include providing reception cover where necessary, assisting with courier, taxi bookings, general office stock and mail deliveries in addition to working with the finance team in relation to monthly invoices and entering Attorney timesheets.  Candidates need to have a minimum of two years legal administrative experience, preferably within a litigation team, in addition to excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills and strong knowledge of using Microsoft Office Software.  A salary of up to £32,000 is on offer.
