This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ambitious and hardworking. You will be working for a successful businessman and entrepreneur in the music business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing his busy and ever-changing diary, acting as a key support and main contact. As you will be communicating with VIPs and influential businesspeople on a day-to-day basis, you will possess a high level of professionalism and organisational skills. This is a demanding but rewarding role that requires an enthusiastic and pro-active individual. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a 24/7 capacity – this is not literal but there will be the requirement to be responsive in the evening and occasional weekends, as travel / events may fall over the weekend and your employer’s interests are in the UK, Africa and USA.
Hours: Full time
Location: Clapham South and remotely from your own home (ideally local)
Salary: Dependent upon experience
Start Date: ASAP
Interviewing: Thursday 15th April
Languages: French and / or Moroccan Arabic speaking would be beneficial but not essential
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Diary management
- Travel management; business and private, domestic and international
- Managing correspondence and acting as gatekeeper
- Property and other project management here and overseas
- Liaising with finance team
- Liaising with individuals and organisations in which your employer is an investor here and overseas
- To be an aide at events and meetings
- Provide admin and organisational support across all business interests
- Required to travel as an aide from time to time
- Trouble shooting IT Issues
- Support household management and admin where required
- Proactively finding ways to simplify processes and ensure things run smoothly
Candidates must be / have:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a personal assistant, preferably supporting high profile individuals
- Experience interacting with charity or not for profit organisations
- Experience dealing with Board Trustees and Directors
- Proven to be trustworthy and discreet at all times
- Professional in your appearance and manner
- Exceptional attention to detail and clear communication skills
- Project Management skills, ability to multi-task
- High level of IT skills particularly PC with Mac knowledge
- Highly numerate
- Can work under pressure
- Flexible in their approach to work tasks and working hours
- Can-do attitude
- Live within easy reach of Clapham South, London SW12 area
Beneficial but not essential
· Driving license
· French and/or Moroccan Arabic speaking
· Music industry experience
