Part time Benefits and Payroll Administrator
Fabulous international boutique investment firm
Up to £35,000 pro rated
Up to 25 hours per week, 5 hours a day, every day.
The role would be office based.
London - Mayfair
Role & Responsibilities:
As the Payroll and Benefits Officer, you will be responsible to perform payroll support and backup tasks, which are essential to maintain the smooth running of the payroll process. The main day to day responsibilities within this role is the collection and input of information to the payroll system, checking of payroll outputs, and query resolution.
Additional responsibilities/roles include providing support to the Managing Director as well as the Finance Manager and wider team, which will include the following :
• Maintaining and updating payroll information in a precise and accurate manner with payment of all Salaries and Drawings;
• Process and amend any tax code changes;
• Contribution towards providing an efficient, confidential and professional payroll service to all levels within the firm;
• Processing flexible benefits schemes such as Cycle to Work schemes etc.
• Assisting with completion of PAYE Settlement Agreement; P11d’s;
• Assist in preparation and submission of annual expenses and benefits forms;
• Maintain holiday and sick records, as well as right to work checklists;
• Dealing with pensions and income protection related queries raised by staff and corresponding with the pension provider and broker as necessary;
• Assist the CEO/CAO on drafting Recruitment Letters;
• Manage and issue Annual Bonus Letters ;
• Other adhoc tasks, as necessary;

• Be team-oriented and possess strong integrity and professionalism
We are seeking someone with some accounting, tax related background/knowledge in dealing with payroll administration. Whilst you wouldn’t be dealing with the payroll itself (as this is outsourced and we use ADP and SGW for that), you must be competent enough to deal with payroll related tax queries (for instance).
