Reporting to the Head of HR and working alongside the wider HR team the HR Advisor will be responsible for providing best practice HR advise and guidance. The successful candidate will support line managers and employees across the company in line with the Company's strategic aims, values and legal requirements.

Working with the wider HR team to provide HR advice and guidance to line managers and employees as required
Supporting line managers with employee relations cases including grievance, investigations, disciplinary and capability cases in line with the company policy and procedures
Providing advice and guidance to line managers as required for probationary reviews and performance management as required
Responding to any queries or problems that employees and managers may have
Support line managers and supervisors with absence management in line with company policy
Ensure that absences are recorded correctly on the HR Portal and are processed correctly on the monthly payroll
Oversee and coordinate the health initiative assessments for new starters
Ensure HR Portal is maintained and kept up to date
Support the wider HR team with delivery of HR project initiatives as and when required
Manage the monthly payroll including the processing the monthly payroll spreadsheet and submitting to the third party payroll agency
Maintain and update the group organisational chart on the last working day of the month to be updated on the internal intranetProfile

The ideal candidate will be a solid HR generalist with a good understanding of best practice HR, who has gained their experience within a fast paced environment
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
CIPD qualified to level 5 preferred but not essential
Experience of managing complex ER casework is essential
Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Highly effective personal and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with an agile approach
An excellent communicator who is empathetic with a pragmatic, can do attitude
Strong attention to detail with a critical eye for control and compliance
Must be able to maintain confidentiality as required
