French speaking Management Accountant

A successful and continuously expanding retail group is on the lookout for a French speaking Management Accountant to join their Finance team. In this role you will play a vital part in the company's Finance team, ensuring the timely preparation of management accounts and working closely with the Senior Manager. You will be required to work from the client's Blackburn office on a daily basis, where Covid-19 safety guidelines are in place.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Being responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Preparing of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Presenting the monthly numbers to the Senior Manager
• Working closely with the Senior Manager to ensure local GAAP requirements are applied correctly

About you:

The ideal applicant will be responsible, organised and have strong analytical skills. In order to succeed in this role, it is vital for you to be fluent in French and have experience in a similar accounting role. Profile:

• Required to be fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
• Solid experience as a Management Accountant, Accountant or Assistant Accountant
• Part-qualified or qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Accountant and/or a degree in Accounting/Finance
• Previous skills in accounting, monthly balance sheet reconciliation and reporting are essential
• Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Able to commute to Blackburn on a daily basis
