Personal Assistant at International Not-For-Profit Organisation

North London

Unique opportunity to become part of a truly impactful international NGO focused on Sub Saharan Africa. You will be supporting the person in charge of running EMEA and the US offices and will be key in enabling their reach and success. Highly organised, you have a knack with people, can push back if needed, quietly confident and determined. You enjoy taking responsibility for your work and adding as much value as you can. You will enjoy a rich international work environment, consisting of highly intelligent and high-calibre colleagues who are passionate about the cause of the organisation.

You will have some experience as a Personal Assistant already and be skilled in taking minutes. Ideally you have worked with a Board before. Initially based remotely but with North London-based offices, you will join the UK team of around 10 people and support at Global Director level.

Responsibilities for this Personal Assistant will be varied, including:

  • Challenging diary management
  • Meeting minutes
  • Arranging travel - both domestic and international
  • Point of contact for the Board and Advisory Board - minuting meetings and liaising with members
  • Onboarding of new starters
  • Supporting with HR tasks
  • Other administration when needed.

Your organisation will be second to none, coupled with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams and priorities. You will be an effective communicator with the Director and build a strong rapport with a focused, hard-working and self-motivated team of individuals who are passionate about the charity's mission.

Core hours are 9am - 6pm with flexibility to work beyond these hours during particularly busy times.

Salary will be based on experience, up to c.
