An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a bright, hands on and business savvy Assistant to join this ambitious and growing engineering firm in a Part -Time capacity (20 hours per week). Working remotely to kick off with, you will be supporting a highly personable Director and inclusive team with a diverse and wide remit of duties.

It is a wonderful opportunity to join at a pivotal time in the company’s growth and expansion where you can really get involved in all aspects of the business and add real value. You will suit a fast paced, start-up vibe, be incredibly hands on and looking for an opportunity where you can grow with the role.

A background in property / construction is preferred as you will be liaising with contractors, architects, engineers, project managers and designers on a wide range of projects (residential, new build, commercial)  as well as clients on a daily basis, so an understanding of the industry would be most beneficial. Must be finance and tech savvy with a high attention to detail and accuracy.

You will be supporting the Director with diary, inbox and travel management and work closely with him to ensure the smooth running of the business and his schedule at all times. The Director is extremely busy and attends multiple meetings daily across London and the UK and will often call and dictate emails and discuss key action points whilst on the move. Further duties will include but not be limited to; ensuring project deadlines are met, keeping the Director abreast of any issues that arise, liaising with the wider team, finance and invoicing management,  document production, proof reading contracts, ensuring business compliance and memberships are up to date, general office administration and data input. There will also be an opportunity to get involved with marketing, events and social media for the business so an understanding of these platforms is important.

This role is ideally suited to someone intelligent and proactive who enjoys being involved across the board but also requires flexibility. As a boutique but growing company the role would also suit someone who has worked in a small team/ office environment before. Well-spoken and polished with a positive “can -do” attitude is a must.

Must have at least 5-10 year’s demonstrated experience in a similar role.

This is a truly fantastic opportunity to work with an ambitious and caring team who are looking for someone who is keen to be a part of an exciting business with huge potential. Must be able to hit the ground running!

Please apply today for immediate consideration. Due to the high volume of applicants currently it will be only be possible to contact successful applicants on this occasion.
