IT Support Engineer - financial services industry

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join a successful investment business based in London's West End. This is a corporate business looking for an effective IT Support Engineer to work in their close-knit IT department. This role will see you reporting to the Head of IT providing technical support to the business. you will be the first point of contact for all IT issues ensuring requests are accurately logged, resolved, or escalated as necessary.

The Role

This role will see you assist with a wide range of IT operations and documentation tasks including:

• 1st line support for all hardware and software issues
• Logging support requests, taking ownership and ensuring successful resolutions
• Setting up new users
• Hardware and infrastructure moves and printer support
• Ensuring computers are updated and security patches applied
• Ensuring Anti-Virus software is up to date and fully-functional
• Manage and configure smartphones and mobile devices
• Engage in any project work as required.
• Raise requests/purchase orders 
• Documentation of all procedures updates and changes
