Facilities Manager
Our client is looking for a Facilities Manager to ensure the seamless running of the office. Experience is essential as you will be negotiating and managing contracts from day one. Strong communication skills is certainly required as you will be liaising with building management, senior management and outsource providers regularly. There are between 60-80 employees in the office, so a Facilities Manager from a similar sized company would work well. The company is very well established and has an excellent reputation in their sector. The office is based in the City of London and paying between £40,000-£45,000.
The responsibilities include:
*Managing the contracts, insurances and suppliers - negotiating rates and renewals
*Invoicing - checking and payments
*Being the representative at building meetings
*Ensuring the offices are always immaculately presented
*Health and safety - qualified first aider
*Reception duties - cover lunchtimes and holidays, arrange temporary cover when required
*Create a detailed facilities manual
You must be exceptionally organised, discreet, approachable and detail focussed. Experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical or corporate companies is desired.
