House Manager

Super role for a highly talented and energetic House Manager to lead a small, talented team on this beautiful estate 3 hours North of London. Accommodation is provided on the Estate. The master residence is currently going through a major renovation and improvement plan so you will be needed to bring calm and order to the chaos all around you. This is a very well run estate and you will need extensive management capabilities to do well in this position. You may already have experience within House Management or perhaps you are ex-Armed Forces looking for your next challenge. Discretion, energy and forward thinking are all essential qualities as is tact and diplomacy. This is a not a traditional, white glove environment. Standards are exceptionally high, so being able to motivate staff and lead from the front is essential. Personality fit is key for this role. Most important quality is the desire to get fully involved and provide a seamless service to ensure everything is top notch for when the family visits (weekends and school holidays). This is a super stylish environment and a prior knowledge of working with an extensive inventory of priceless arts and antiques would be useful. Also essential that you are tech savvy, have the emotional intelligence to know when to blend into the background and have also obtained a degree.
