Back office Analyst

A leading international financial services company, with its head office in London is seeking an experienced Back Office Analyst with FX experience.

Working as part of a team of 6 this role will suit someone who enjoys a fast paced environment and takes responsibility for their work. Reporting to the Head of Back Office.

Duties include

Reconciliations - ensuring all FX and derivative counterparty/bank side confirmations are matched.

Liaison with front office and IT teams to resolve any queries

Carry out reconciliations for MiFID regulated entities.

Calculate and process transfers between company accounts, ensure none are overdrawn over night and that the company is compliant.

Representing the back office at project team meetings

Calculate and agree FX settlement amounts, process and reconcile.

Investigate outstanding settlements

Gaining a full understanding of the company policy regarding AML and compliance. Ensuring all work completed in line with CASS, CAR, US Permissable Investments and safeguarding.

This role is initially based remotely however when offices re-open will be based in Victoria.

Initially a 6 month contract with a view to becoming permanent
