We have just taken on a fantastic opportunity for a well-presented, polished, smart and intelligent Operations Manager / Chief of Staff fast growing global management consultancy specialising in research and innovation for blue chip technology companies. 

In this newly created position, the role will be rewarding, busy, collaborative. As the company scales, we are looking for someone with experience and ambition to manage operational aspects of the business. You will work collaboratively with the leadership team to build and run effective processes for core business functions spanning HR, IT, project management and finance. 

We are looking for someone who takes pride in making things run smoothly and efficiently and for an individual who is not afraid to suggest doing things differently - and better. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Support the partners by assisting them to execute on the smooth, day-to-day running of the business
  • Oversee the smooth running of HR (annual review process, onboarding etc.)
  • Plan and run all administrative and operational activities of the business
  • Participating in longer-term business planning and budgeting processes together with the partners
  • Coordinate, attend and actively contribute to weekly leadership meetings 
  • Act as trusted counsel for the partners on operational matters by providing a strong, emotionally intelligent perspective 
  • Facilities - Ensure the smooth running of the office and supplier relationships 
  • Project operations – work with project teams to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of client projects. Oversee and manage project operation 
  • IT Support - ensure the team has the tools and tech they need to get their work done
