Ambitious and growing tech platform is currently hiring a Chief of Staff. Based in the New York Head Office, your role will be to act as a proxy, advisor and a second set of eyes.
This role is highly strategic and facilitative; one that requires a combination of detailed analysis and project management, as well as a willingness to play an active, behind-the-scenes role in the organization.
As Chief of Staff, you will work with and report directly to the CEO while relaying messages and ideas from other senior leaders to improve the internal functions and processes of the company. You will advise on projects, organize and plan company initiatives, and ensure the CEO has a constant line of sight to the macro vision of business operations. You must be a creative and results-driven thinker, an excellent problem solver and possess incredible interpersonal skills to effectively manage projects and act as a central point of contact for a high volume of internal and external business communications.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Serve as strategic advisor and partner to the CEO while taking on day-to-day tasks that enable the CEO to focus on larger strategic organizational initiatives
- Create and maintain cross-departmental relationships to enable organizational alignment and effectiveness
- Turn theoreticals into realities by delivering or completing tasks and projects as assigned
- Direct and support the collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short and long-term planning
- Coordinate and complete ad-hoc tasks, ranging from board and investor communications to data analysis and market research
- Handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously, aligning long-term projects with the urgency of immediate demands.
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years of management consulting experience
- Educational credit against a business administration, finance, logistics, economics, or human resources degree highly preferred
- Proven track record of success + growth in previous positions held
- Natural ability to identify solutions to a wide range of problems
- Expert written and verbal communications
- Outstanding leadership, organizational and planning skill sets
- Ability to successfully organize, lead and direct large teams of people
- Highly experience with project coordination + management
- Proven creative thinker with strong business acuity
