HR Generalist

HR Generalist role to support with all HR activities for a successful property group

£30,000-£32,000 plus benefits 

This is a new role in which you will be overseeing all HR activity for a successful group of property companies (based N1 – close to Kings Cross / Angel).

Great opportunity to make the role your own and work closely with the company’s Directors; you will pull together all existing HR practices into a coherent permanent role and will be sure to improve HR services to the company’s 100 employees. As HR Generalist you will work with the company’s senior team and take the lead on all HR matters; a broad and varied remit which will include:

  • Overseeing hiring process including recruitment, some initial interviewing, drafting offer paperwork and onboarding
  • Ensuring that all HR records are maintained which will require a detail-focused approach
  • Being main point of contact for an external payroll company; ensuring that monthly payrolls are timely and accurate
  • Monitoring sickness and holiday for employees; working closely with Managers
  • Diarising and managing annual reviews
  • Being responsible for the company’s workplace pension scheme and responbilities
  • Monitoring training, including necessary exams and accreditaions
  • HR support to employees working on client sites; this could include TUPEs of existing staff

You will need at least 2 years’ HR experience and to be someone who is happy to take responsibility dealing with issues as they arise, but knowing when to ask for help. As in any HR role discretion and confidentiality are essential as well as the ability to build relationships across the company at all levels
