VWA is newly working on a fantastic new Gallery Manager opportunity based in the Paris office - our client is a contemporary art gallery which showcases both upcoming and renowned artists. You will be the 'right-hand' person to one of the Founders and support with all operations of the gallery.

Kindly note that this Gallery Manager role requires bilingual French/English language skill (spoken and written).

You will be a self-starting person who is comfortable working independently and in a small office environments. Responsibilities will be varied to include:

• Gallery management including alarms, IT problems, arranging building maintenance.
• Ensuring the gallery space remains neat and tidy.
• Ordering supplies for the gallery and being cost efficient.
• HR - recruitment, preparing contracts, tracking staff holiday.
• Finance - making and filing payments.
• Exhibitions - sending our invites, organising dinners and opening events and assisting the management of show set-ups and take-downs.

Interested applicants for this Gallery Manager opportunity will have some previous office work experience alongside bilingual French and English language skill - you will have a flexible approach where no task is too small, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the gallery's presentation remains at the highest level.

Salary for this Gallery Manager will be based on experience, up to a maximum of 45,000 Euros per annum.

This is a one-year contract role.
