THE ROLE
New entry level role reporting to the Operations Director and providing you the opportunity to grow and develop within a leading boutique finance firm. It’s a real hands-on role and you will be fully immersed in helping out with the daily running of the office, assisting with other projects and providing team assistant support on an ad hoc basis. A great opportunity for a graduate with ideally 1 year + experience within an office environment to grow their skills and gain invaluable knowledge from an all-rounder role!

THE DUTIES - Your responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to:

- Office duties
• Help with office maintenance (ordering restocking supplies etc.)
• Handling couriers and deliveries, distributing incoming post
• Organising and maintaining a tidy working environment
• Ordering stationery and office supplies
• Assistance in upcoming office relocation

- Record keeping
• Managing company and project filing system in line with FCA regulation
• Maintaining supply inventory
• General filing – maintain paper files, office information supplier invoices, expenses, sales, receipts.
• Assisting with collating, team expenses
• Assisting invoice processing and data entry
• Keep IM library up-to-date

- Team Assistance
• Team support – ad hoc support on projects
• Performing general office administration duties and errands
• Some ad hoc printing and binding
• Helping keep tombstones up-to-date and formatted correctly
• Entering information into databases as required (CRM)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and most importantly proactive. The role would suit someone who has small company experience and is happy in a close business support role. This position would suit an individual who is in an early stage of their career with excellent organisation skills, and a can-do attitude, ready to ‘pitch-in’ wherever they can. You must be focused on the job, able to pick up things quickly using initiative, and not afraid to ask questions. Attitude is the most important thing! Experience within a professional environment as an office assistant or in related field would be beneficial. Degree educated is preferable, but not essential.
