An excellent 12 month contract for a professional services firm stepping into the role of EA/Operations Manager. This role is an integral part of their team and requires someone to assist with support to the team, detailed reporting, financial management, assisting with events, scheduling and more. This is a really interesting role with a down to earth and friendly and professional team.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Internal and external reporting
- Managing the CRM system updating records and maintaining pipeline
- Updating and maintaining spreadsheets
- Regulatory management and basic compliance
- Managing relationships with clients, suppliers and partners
- Financial management – accounts payable/receivable, expenses
- Day to day office management
- Booking travel and scheduling meetings for the team as required
- Follow up with analysts
- Arranging internal and external company events
- Point of contact for marketing and assisting with social media (LinkedIn)
- HR – managing annual leave, onboarding etc.
The team are all incredibly busy but very respectful. They are sociable and down to earth. They want someone they can trust to get on with the work without micromanaging them and checking up. The skills and type of person we are looking for is:-
- Experienced managing a team or office with experience in a similar operational role
- Strong MS office skills – a particular focus on Excel
- Excellent problem solving skills and solution driven
- A good communicator and able to build relationships
- Confident decision-maker - able to work to deadlines and deliver output quickly
- Good organisation skills and follow up
- Calm and patient in their approach
- Previous experience using Salesforce is highly desirable
