The Client

Our client are a prestigious law with offices based in and around London, they are now looking to hire an experienced Archivist for their office in Newbury. To be considered for this role you will have to have previous experience gained from a law firm.

The Role

Typical duties will include:

  • Document archiving, storage and supply (Wills, Deeds, Powers of Attorney etc)
  • File archiving from cradle to grave (recording, storage, retrieval, destruction)
  • Information provision to staff and clients including research and detective work
  • Archive systems oversight – paper and electronic
  • Storage supervision – GL outside storage, strong rooms

The Requirements

  • Previous Archivist experience gained from a law firm
  • Demonstrate attention to detail
  • Hands on approach with proven ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues, clients and suppliers
