The PA to Managing Director role is working for a pioneering health-care company, with clinics based across the UK. The role is to work closely with the MD to support with the day-to-day operations on his role and work closely with the HR Coordinator.

The PA to Managing Director role is working for a pioneering health-care company based in London. The business was established over 30 years ago and has centres across the UK with state-of-the-art facilities and on-site laboratories, providing world-class care.

Description

The PA to Managing Director - Healthcare Company - London role includes:

- Diary management for the MD, making appointments and coordinating meetings

- Preparing documentation and creating agendas for meetings

- Coordinating the expenses spreadsheet and submitting with receipts

- Screening telephone calls and enquiries, acting as the gatekeeper for the MD

- Helping to produce documents, papers, reports and presentations

- Coordinating travel and accommodation, creating itineraries for the MD

- Meeting and greeting visitors and clients on behalf of the MD

- Ensuring the security of sensitive personal and business information to maintain discretion at all times

HR Support:

- Assisting with the review and implementation of HR policies and procedures

- To maintain the absence records for staff, including monitoring annual leave and sickness

- Working with the HR Coordinator to support with recruitment across all sites including, writing adverts, liaising with agencies, negotiating agency rate, assisting with interview preparation, drafting offer letters

- Helping to generate reports and statistics as required and to present this in a professional manner

Profile

The successful PA to Managing Director - Health-care Company - London will be/will have:

- Previous PA experience, supporting at Director level

- Industry experience is preferred but not essential

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Confident user of MS Office

- Proven ability to work independently using initiative

- Ability to handle confidential information and work with discretion

- A self-starter, somebody who remains highly motivated and can work under pressure

- Able to juggle conflicting priorities
