Couple - Housekeeper and Cook, Italy

Tiger Private is looking for a domestic couple to take on the roles of housekeeper and chef for a family with a 4 year old child who live in Venice, Italy.  

You will join a small team of household staff which includes a cleaning lady (4-5 times a week) and a full time nanny.

The role can be live-in or live out.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Overall day to day responsibilities will include; all housekeeping duties and cooking for the family, providing an exceptional level of service and ensuring the smooth running of the household.
High standards of family style cooking or more fine dining level of cooking is desired. However, when the family entertain guests, additional staff will be brought in to help. Italian and Mediterranean cuisines are preferred, but you should be able to cook a variety of cuisines or enjoy trying new recipes.

All duties are to be covered and can be summerised as follows: 

Duties for the Housekeeper include;

• Hands on housekeeping maintaining a clean/tidy home
• Laundry; handwashing, dry cleaning etc. 
• Ironing
• Table setting and serving 
• Overseeing the cleaning lady
• Liaising with and overseeing contractors
• Organising private events
• Ordering household stock and supplies; inventory lists
• Wardrobe management
• Running errands and ad hoc tasks

Duties for the Chef include;

• Cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for the family
• Catering for larger lunches and dinner parties
• Menu planning
• Grocery shopping; seasonal, quality ingredients
• Ensuring kitchen stock and supplies
• Table setting and service

We are looking for experienced, switched on, proactive couples who have experience working in a similar role in a private household. You must have a real hands on, muck in attitude!

Italian is a bonus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Working hours are 8 hours a day 5.5 days a week.
Salary is around 60,000 euros gross per annum depending on experience
