A Single Family Office based in Camden London are looking to hire a junior Financial Accountant, to join their small, hard working, friendly team. This is fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a long term, secure career in a great working environment.
Responsibilities:
The Finance team looks after personal and business interests of a high net worth individual.
Responsibilities include both personal & business accounting:

Responsibilities include both personal & business accounting:
- Monitoring and recording payments and receipts on all sterling and foreign currency bank accounts including investments administration
- Preparing payments and inter-account transfers
- Resolving day to day queries on payments
- Preparing monthly bank reconciliations across number of banks & multiple currencies
- Reconciling balance sheet nominal ledger accounts
- Preparing VAT returns
- Assisting with preparation of monthly & quarterly management reporting
- Supporting in ad hoc projects
- General filing & organising
- Helping administer investments – Private Equities & Equities
- At least AAT qualified or officially part qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA - this means you must have passed the appropriate number of exams to be part or fully qualified
- At least 2 years’ experience working within a finance department
- The ability to produce highly accurate work and a good attention to detail
- High level of numeracy
- Good communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work to a deadline
- Strong Microsoft and Excel skills
- Multicurrency, personal tax return & investment accounting experiences beneficial but not required
