We’re looking for a HR administrative professional to take on a brilliant new role in the West-End! Our client is a boutique private equity firm with a fantastic culture and close-knit team of 20, who are all friendly, humble and dedicated. They’re based in lovely new offices and even have a roof terrace which they often use for Friday night drinks. You’ll be joining as the sole HR support in an incredibly varied role, so there’s lots of opportunity to mould this and make it your own.


To be successful in this role you’ll need at least five years solid HR admin experience working within private equity or a finance organisation of a similar size. It would be advantageous if you have had experience, or are knowledgeable on UK employment law and be able to advise the firm of any changes to legislation, which could impact employee benefits or pension contributions.

You should have experience dealing with a broad range of HR responsibilities as you’ll be the go-to in the office for all related queries and concerns. Being the sole support in the office you must be happy dealing with all levels of tasks from the small scale, like administration, to strategic plans working closely with the Head of HR for future hiring plans and employee relations. We’re looking for someone who is confident, a self-starter, and is resourceful to solve any queries and issues of their own accord. 


What makes this role really exciting is that you’ll be given complete autonomy from the get-go. You’ll be working very closely with the Head of HR as well as the Partners within the London office who will all trust this person to get on with what is needed.

Your responsibilities as HR Officer will include

  • Creation & implementation of the HR handbook for the UK
  • Onboarding and set up of new joiners
  • Managing and implementing payroll
  • Pensions & salary management
  • Recruitment planning & strategy
  • Benefits & remuneration
  • Management of employee files and records
  • Point of contact for HR concerns & advice
  • Tracking of UK employment law and contract reviews

  • Hours are 8.30 am – 5.30pm
  • There is the flexibility for this role to be considered as part-time for the right candidate.
