Private PA Job Description

 

A lovely, down to earth HNW family seek a keen, hardworking and trustworthy Private PA to assist them at their home in Windsor. The ideal candidate will have some experience working as a PA but this is not a necessity as long as they have the right attitude.

 

This is a great opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career looking to become a Private PA. They are a warm, engaging family looking for someone who will fit in well working from their family home.

 

The husband is a Partner at a successful investment firm and the wife is a well-known interior designer. They have two children and a lovely dog who will also need walking as part of the role. They are a relaxed family who are easy to get along with.

 

Private PA Job Specifics:

  • Days will be 9am – 5.30pm
  • Salary: £25K – £30K dependant on experience
  • Start date: happy to wait a month’s notice
  • Holiday: 25 days a year + bank holidays
  • Location: Windsor
  • Benefits: pension; healthcare and dental (employed and paid by the husband’s business)

Private PA Responsibilities:

  • The role will involve the management of two separate diaries and the children’s schedules
  • Property management and overseeing of household staff
  • Assisting in the well-being of the family
  • Booking travel and appointments for the family
  • The family like to entertain so there will be a lot event management in this role. It is also important to exercise discretion when dealing with guests
  • Organising the children’s after school activities and any tutors
  • Invoices and expenses
  • Shopping for the household

Private PA Attributes & Experience:

  • Discretion because of high profile friends
  • Professional
  • Good at remaining calm under pressure
  • Highly organised
  • Strong communications skills
  • Highly personable and outgoing
  • Prior PA experience desired
  • Minimum of a year’s professional experience
  • Prior experience of dealing with high net worth individuals
