Responsibilities

Assist and manage the full and half year results roadshows for GCT's corporate clients including liaising with the Sales champion, Corporate Financier, the corporate clients' management team, their PR firm and their key institutional investors to set up the meetings and ensuring that they run smoothly, that presentations are prepared and that recent research notes are available for all attendees


* Seek feedback from institutional investors promptly following the roadshows, collate the feedback and provide to the sales team and corporate client
* Attend full and half year results roadshows and any other meetings with corporate clients and institutional clients as required
* Maintain database of key dates for GCT corporate clients including full and half year results, etc.
* Maintain the contacts database for corporate and institutional clients
* Support GCT with fielding calls, team diary management, booking meeting rooms, travel arrangements and hotel bookings for team and corporate clients as required
* Administrative support to GCT Sales and Research as required including filing, processing expenses, etc.
* Assist in the production of placing letters for fundraisings
* Co-ordinate and manage GCT events, dinners, etc., including invites, guest lists, logistics, invoicing, etc.
* Attend morning meetings to maintain knowledge and awareness of GCT's clients, keep updated on market developments and sales team strategy
* Any other duties as required from time to time.
When the role progresses and Certificated person status is granted, the following tasks will likely be included:
* Take orders from regulated investors as required on secondary trades and liaise with trading desk to facilitate trade
* Take placing orders, manage placing books and produce placing letters for fundraisings

Requirements

  • Experience providing administrative and diary management support to a busy team
  • * Previous experience within stockbroking firm or investment bank desirable
  • Degree qualified
  • Basic understanding of the UK regulatory framework including but not limited to FCA Rules and Guidance including SYSC, COBS, MAR, LR, DTR, PR
  • * Basic knowledge of associated statutory legislation including UK Money Laundering Regulations, Bribery Act, etc.
