The Client

Our client is an established law firm with offices based in Essex, and they are looking for a Legal Secretary/Litigation Assistant with experience in Litigation or Dispute Resolution. 

The Role

Typical duties will include:

  • Arranging meetings/lunches with clients and co-ordinating diaries
  • Diary management and travel
  • Complex document production and amendments
  • Photocopying/printing/scanning
  • Dictation
  • Email management
  • Preparation of draft emails and correspondence for approval
  • Typing reports, file notes and attendance notes
  • Filing and eFiling of incoming and outgoing post and correspondence
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with routine enquiries

The Requirements

  • Previous experience in Litigation or Dispute Resolution
  • Highly skilled on all MS Office applications
  • Experienced with billing and dictation
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Ability to be flexible to meet the demands of the work
