Business Development & Marketing Executive

Our US law firm client has an exciting new opportunity for a Business Development & Marketing Executive to join their London office. Located in the heart of the City, this firm is a trusted advisor to broad spectrum of companies on regulatory, transactional and litigation services.

The Business Development & Marketing Executive will be responsible for providing support for business development and marketing activities, and providing implementation support for strategic marketing and business development initiatives. This position works with lawyers, business development/marketing managers, and other firm staff to coordinate practice group and individual attorney business development and marketing efforts in the London and Brussels offices.

This role encompasses all aspects of the marketing mix, with key responsibilities including:

• Supporting RFP, pitch, and proposal processes from planning through submission.
• Maintain London practice group content including central proposal content database; attorney experience and deals databases; and pitch/proposal database.

• Update content on the firm's website, including updating biographies and experience highlights.

• Assist with data collection and coordination of practice group submissions to Chambers and other rankings/awards submissions.
• Responsible for coordinating and staffing of local seminars, webinars and other events, including managing lists, managing in-person and virtual events, and creation of post-events reports/follow up
• Assist with the preparation of marketing communications materials including social media posts and responses to press inquiries.
• Assist with the collection of data for London and European-based surveys.
• Creation, proofing and posting of content for multiple communications outlets including intranet, website and social media channels

• Partner with graphic design staff to create firm-approved, branded layouts for print, presentations, social media, and email campaigns.
• Design, modify and update graphic files for production, make updates to existing designs when change is needed

The ideal candidate for this Business Development & Marketing Executive position will have a degree in a relevant subject (Marketing, Business, Communications, Events Management or Hospitality) and will have prior marketing experience in a law firm or professional services firm. You must be an enthusiastic self-starter with highly-effective communication skills and a strong client service ethic. The ability to build strong and effective relationships across the business is essential, as is excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of applications including InterAction, Cvent and Vuture is required.
