Our client, a full service Creative Agency, requires a Production Account Manager to join their busy and successful team.

The position requires strong organisational and communication skills; great attention to detail; the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and an awareness of the ever-changing music marketplace. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who takes initiative. They will ideally have both production and customer services experience within the music industry (not essential) and be at ease dealing at management level, as well as a strong passion and understanding of creative music packaging.

The role will include confirming orders with customers (labels and artists), placing orders with various suppliers dealing with in house art workers and ensuring delivery of vinyl and CD in a timely manner.

Having an understanding of print and production processes will be advantageous however training of the various aspects of the role will be given.

As Production Account Manager you will work in various stages of the print production cycle:

The Product Account Manager will take responsibility for several functions across the production process, as well as for obtaining materials to fulfil orders.

Typical tasks involve:

  • Checking the accuracy and viability of the product specification
  • Liaising with designer to discuss and maintain accuracy of customer requirements
  • Using the works in progress system (WIP) to place/track orders
  • Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the order
  • Improving processes and cost-efficiency
  • Managing customer account managers, internal sales dept to discuss setbacks in time or processes
  • Keeping contact with customers to ensure specifications are carried out
  • Recommending changes and improvements.

Candidates must be / have:

  • Use of production systems – ideally use of WIP
