Executive Assistant to CEO

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a career EA who is driven, passionate about their role as an EA, looking to support a hugely successful and extremely busy CEO within a top private equity organisation.  

This position will suit someone who is able to give the dedication this role requires is happy to take direction for the Senior EA about 85% of the time but equally be able to step into her shoes at any given time.  There will be the chance of progression within 6 - 12 months time, therefore you are going to be given an extremely comprehensive handover so that the transition for the CEO is going to be very smooth.

The ideal candidate will be happy to muck in and handle what ever is thrown your way - no matter how big or small a job.  You will have high energy, positive, professional and enthusiastic as well as have the commitment and drive to deliver that level of excellence this this client is looking for.  You will be friendly, down to earth, level headed and fun.  

You will be very well looked after in terms of remuneration and benefits as well as work in fantastic state of the art offices looking after a hugely successful, driven and dynamic boss. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the CEO on a daily basis and take direction for the from the Senior EA.
  • Setting up meetings and vc calls – preparation of agenda’s and documentation for meetings.
  • Extensive diary management and travel – both business and personal.  Handling an extremely busy diary and making best use of time and dealing with last minute changes. 
  • A good knowledge of the States is extremely beneficial. 
  • Handling all correspondence such as emails, phone calls – taking messages and handling where appropriate and being a real gate-keeper.
  • Providing high quality documentation.
  • General admin duties such as processing expenses.
  • Dealing with highly confidential information with discretion at all times.
  • Assisting with various special projects.
  • Personal PA duties – such as managing household staff.
  • Being available after hours and weekends as and when required.

Skills & Experience:

  • At least five years’ experience supporting at senior level within private equity, asset management, hedge fund, investment banking.
  • Degree educated.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Highly organised, real problem solver and solutions orientated.
  • Able to manage work-flow and prioritise.
  • Creative thinker and think outside the box.
  • Able to make good judgement calls.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Professional at all times.
  • Dedicated and committed to providing a high level of excellence.
  • Able to work well under pressure and handle constant changes, deadlines and priorities.
  • Confident in your ability as an outstanding Executive Assistant.
  • Able to work on complex projects with minimal supervision.
  • Happy to take direction from the Senior EA.

You will work in state of the art offices and be extremely well rewarded for your hard work and efforts.  

Extremely stable admin team, therefore opportunities within this organisation do not come round very often.
