A dynamic and entrepreneurial technology consultancy based in the West End is looking for an EA to support an MD and 2 Directors. This is 12-month maternity contract looking for someone to start end November or December. This position would suit a detail-driven individual with excellent technical skills and a willingness to take on anything thrown their way.
This is a heavy organisational and scheduling role and is an extremely fast-paced environment. Flexibility, enthusiasm and a ‘can-do’ attitude are essential, and above all a passion for doing it well! The company is approximately 30 -40 people strong but is part of a global corporate Management Consultancy and in such you will be based in the same offices so will feel part of a big global organisation.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years' EA experience within fin-tech/tech industry. These are the only industry sectors our client will consider at this stage.
Key EA duties:
- Extensive & intensive diary management worldwide
- Arranging client and internal meetings
- Inbox management by request (dependant on stakeholders)
- Acting as the point of contact between the executives and internal or external colleagues
- Managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner
- Organising domestic and international travel arrangements
- Preparing and submitting time & expense reports
- Maintaining & updating Partners' client contact information and biographies
- Attending team meetings as necessary
- Cover for colleagues within immediate team and group as a whole
- Drafting and archiving correspondence
- Organising team dinners and events
- Ad hoc duties as needed
Key EA skills and experience
- Previous Personal/Administrative Assistant experience in a fast-paced environment- ideally fintech, tech or FS
- Excellent administrative & organisational skills
- Highly computer-literate, including Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
- A ‘can do’ attitude / flexible attitude to the role
- Detail-driven
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage expectations and conflicting deadlines
- Working within a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure calmly
- Working within a team but also able to work autonomously
- Proactive and confident in managing expectations, as and when required
- Commitment to get the job done, often without supervision
- Discretion with confidential material and information
- Professional communication style (both verbal and written) at all levels within the organisation and with external clients
- Attention to detail
