One of London's leading educational institutions is looking for an Admissions Coordinator to join them on a 4 month FTC. The successful candidate will be a degree educated, proactive and customer-orientated Administrator. You will be responsible for admissions to the postgraduate programmes and a first point of contact for both prospective students and applicants.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring rapid turnaround of applications
  • Assessing new applications in line with programme selection criteria
  • Building up a detailed understanding of programmes in order to play a key role in developing admissions policies and procedure
  • Responding to a high volume of email enquiries in a timely fashion
  • Building and maintaining relationships with prospective students and aiding the conversion of high quality applicants
  • Participating in online and on-campus information sessions for prospective students
  • Preparing statistical reports on application numbers and trends

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Must be degree educated
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong IT skills including experience of preparing and sending mail merges, using spreadsheets and databases, and creating statistical reports
  • Previous experience of working within Higher Education in a customer-focused environment, preferably within an admissions team
  • Experience as a cooperative team member who can also work independently
