Our Client is looking for a creative Content Writer/Copywriter to join their dynamic and innovative team. This is an exciting and varied role which will suit someone who is passionate about Copy Writing within Financial Services, technology, and creating engaging conversational content.

Main Duties:

• Write compelling content to build brand awareness and generate demand for our client
• Creating Blogs, How-to guides, brochures, emails, banners, infographics/visuals to optimize prospect interest, engagement & conversion
• Become an expert in current affairs, communities and issues relevant to our customers in the UK/other target markets in order to engage with influencers
• Assist with PR and 3rd party events/webinar activities, including list generation, journalist pitching, and press release writing, social media posts, build target media lists
• You will be working with the PR Manager as well as Senior Content Manager
• Optimize content according to SEO principles
• Ensure compliance with law (e.g. FCA handbook, copyright and data protection)
• Be a brand guardian ensuring all output is consistently on brand voice, style and tone

Requirements:

• You will have 2+ years of experience in a similar role ideally within Finance/Forex (in house or agency)
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) - you will know what works well on the web, social media, email and in print, with attention to detail
• You are also able to adapt to a new tone of voice depending on the audience
• Creative mindset with an understanding of how to communicate visually and bring ideas to life in a variety of mediums
• Understanding the core mechanics of B2C marketing
• Project coordination: managing multiple stakeholders and activities to a deadline
• Knowledge of SEO is a plus.
