This is a wonderful opportunity for a PA ++ for this startup (with impressive Investor backing). We are looking for a very versatile Team Manager PA who will also have experience with Marketing, PR, Events, etc. Maybe you have worked as sole support for a start-up so be used to wearing lots of different hats? You will have ideally worked in the finance industry - P. Financial PR, etc. The MOST important thing is that you have the ability to 'preempt what is needed - work on your own initiative to ensure the office and team are all ahead of the game.
My client is a newly established business with a unique market proposition that has been set up by veterans of the structured finance world with expert knowledge in the sports, music, and entertainment industry. Whilst the business is new the wider team are a hugely experienced group of experts.
Skills/Qualifications ideal:-
- Undergraduate degree with a record of strong academic performance. Degree in Events, PR, Marketing, etc. could be beneficial
- Excellent Microsoft Office 365 suite capabilities (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to think on his/her feet in a fast-paced environment
- Highly polished and strongly self-aware, as the role will involve interfacing with clients, prospective clients, and high-level executives
- This will be a fast-paced environment and you will need to be a high-performance achiever with the ability to manage several tasks in a calm manner.
Duties will include:-
PA/Team Manager
- Diary management for Founder and others - often changing at last minute
- Extensive email correspondence
- Setting up conference calls
- Arrange internal and external meetings and if required refreshments etc.
- Place office orders - stationery, etc.
- Maintain general organisation and tidiness of office (i. organising deliveries, keeping the office neat) and manage the relationship with the building manager.
Marketing/PR etc.
- Brainstorming and implementing event plans
- Assist with event branding and communication
- Be present and co-host events
- Assist with promoting the company - enhance the image, etc.
- Assist with general marketing team requests, including creation and binding of monthly and quarterly marketing materials and marketing travel prep
- Manage social media strategy and platforms (including Instagram & LinkedIn) to build the brand and demonstrate thought leadership
- Manage the website, taking responsibility for the design and delivery of all content.
- Assist with the marketing/PR/communications plan - strategy and goals
- Assist with PR - create content for press releases, blogs, etc
- Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness and find opportunities for Empowerment spokespersons to demonstrate thought leadership
